I replied thats nothin, I did 0-60 in first gear in front of the high school. There was plenty left in first gear, but I had to shift up so I could let up and slow it down. With the new styling of the Impala, it was slightly less aerodynamic than it had been the previous year, and some drivers wanting the 409 went with the lighter Bel Air Sports Coupe instead. The markers on the side with the flags, minus the 409, were the indicators that it was the 327.
